Report: Pistons closing in on draft pick Stanley Johnson

Stanley Johnson appears to be the man for the Detroit Pistons in the draft. With the No. 8 pick, it should come as no surprise to see Stan Van Gundy and Co. select the Arizona forward on Thursday night.

Mario Hezonja and Emmanuel Mudiay are said to be preferred targets, but both players are also expected to be gone by the time the Pistons draft. Barring some unlikely decisions ahead of them, you can probably assume Johnson is the latest young man to join Motor City.
