Report: Nets waive Earl Clark
It's official. Earl Clark got what he wanted.
From FOX Sports' Fred Katz:
Clark requested that the Nets release him last week, considering he stood little chance to make the final roster, especially after the organization brought in Donald Sloan on Monday.
After the official release of Clark, whose contract was non-guaranteed for the upcoming season, Brooklyn has 17 men on the roster, though plenty of those are either on partial or non-guarantees as well, including Markel Brown, Willie Reed, Ryan Boatright and Quincy Miller.
Brooklyn will need to get down to 15 by the start of the season.
