Report: Nets shopping Mason Plumlee, looking to move up in the draft

We know the Nets are interested in buying a pick or two come June 25th's draft, but that may not be their only big-time goal for draft day. According to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, they also are trying to slide up in the draft order, and they might be using Mason Plumlee to do it:

Plumlee had a back-and-forth season which saw him start the season on the bench, enter the starting lineup to come one of the best players on the team and then eventually almost fall out of coach Lionel Hollins' rotation completely. It was weird, and it makes him particularly difficult to evaluate moving forward.

The Nets refused to unload him in a deal that would've ridded them of Deron Williams and the two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract during the middle of this past season. Now, it appears they're willing to cut their losses with him if it means moving up to an acceptable spot in the draft.
