Report: Marc Gasol expected to stay with Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies have one fear to beat them all this summer: Marc Gasol leaving.

Reassurance rarely comes in as weighty form as the recent word, though. Yahoo Sports/FOX Sports 1 NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski mentioned in a recent report that Gasol is expected to stay, and no NBA writer is more trusted than Woj.

"Gasol is expected to stay with the Grizzlies, but no final decision has been made," Woj writes. It's not a guarantee, but it's certainly encouraging for fans afraid that the indomitable Spaniard will leave Tennessee.
