Report: Kings' Caron Butler likely on the move, but Bucks 'on hold'
Two weeks ago, ESPN's Marc Stein reported that Sacramento promised they'd trade Caron Butler to a team that would provide a larger role.
Butler, originally from Wisconsin, seems like a likely fit for the Milwaukee Bucks. Butler signed with Sacramento over the summer, but he's played just 9.6 minutes per game. He averages 2.7 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.3 assists -- all three are Butler's career-lows. On Tuesday, Stein updated his report.
"Sacramento remains committed to trading Caron Butler, but word is Bucks, as of now, are leaning against a deal for vet F," tweeted Stein. "They'll try to find him new home via trade, but Bucks now on hold after strong interest," he continued.
