Report: Kidd will be back on Bucks' bench next week
Always durable as a player, Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd is expecting to return to the bench this week, about a month ahead of schedule following hip surgery.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Kidd will resume his duties when the Bucks return home from a four-game road trip. Milwaukee plays at Houston on Friday and at New Orleans on Saturday, putting Kidd's likely return on Tuesday when the Bucks play host to the Orlando Magic.
Kidd recently sat down with FOX Sports Wisconsin to talk about his recovery.
Kidd underwent hip surgery before Christmas. Assistant coach Joe Prunty took over on an interim basis and has led the Bucks to an 8-7 record, including a 2-0 start to the current road trip with wins at Charlotte and Miami.
