Report: Jazz thinking about trading Favors, bringing back Millsap
According to ESPN's Chad Ford, the Utah Jazz may be looking to mix the past with the present.
Despite a terrific breakout season next to towering Frenchman Rudy Gobert, Utah could be looking to move big man Derrick Favors in the coming days, Ford reports.
The reason? The Jazz are interested in reacquiring former power forward Paul Millsap, who just had an All-Star season with the Atlanta Hawks.
Millsap would provide an offensive touch that could spread out the floor for the Jazz and increase their offensive productivity. But whether he can provide the same rebounding and defense as the massive Favors is a big question mark. So is whether it's worth quitting so early on the Favors-Gobert front court that showed so much promise in recent months.
We'll see what comes to pass.
