Report: Bulls may fire Thibodeau after all other coaching jobs filled

The situation between Tom Thibodeau and his front office has never been pretty. Now, it appears it could be getting uglier.

With two years and approximately $9 million left on his contract, the Chicago Bulls do not want to pay their current coach to walk out the door. They've long been anticipating a sequence that involves them trading his contract to a team in pursuit of his services, and taking back some compensation in the form of a draft pick or two.

Now, it appears that potential Thibodeau suitors are calling the Bulls' bluff as they interview other candidates. The New Orleans Pelicans and Orlando Magic want Thibs, but not badly enough to be doing Chicago any favors to get him. It's even come to this:
