Raptors sign guard Sundiata Gaines for 10 days
The Toronto Raptors have signed Sundiata Gaines to a 10-day contract.
The 6-foot-1 guard played in college at Georgia and has spent time in the NBA with Minnesota and Utah. He also spent time with the Idaho Stampede of the NBA's development league last season.
Gaines was released by the Timberwolves on Jan. 4. In eight games, he had 21 points, six assists and 65 minutes. He played in 32 games with Utah last season, averaging 3.3 points, 1.2 assists and 6.8 minutes.
The Raptors' roster stands at 15 players, and Gaines will be available for Friday's home game against Detroit.
