Randy Wittman: 'Sky is the limit' for Otto Porter

Although the Washington Wizards couldn't advance past the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference playoffs, the play of young forward Otto Porter Jr. was one of the biggest bright spots of the postseason.

After averaging just under 20 minutes a game during the regular season, the No. 3 pick of the 2013 NBA Draft ended up playing over 33 minutes a night in the playoffs. Even though he's rarely a top option offensively, Porter found ways to contribute on both ends of the floor with solid hustle play.

It sounds like his head coach noticed.

Here's more from Ben Standig of CSNWashington.com:

"If he just stays with an aggressive mentality, the sky's the limit for him," head coach Randy Wittman said. "He can't be a guy that's just out there. That was the biggest difference in Otto. He took advantage of that, learned how to play without worrying about stepping on anybody's toes. That was a big lift for him and for our team, and moving forward, to have a young guy like that."
