Randy Wittman says Wizards need a better stretch 4

After a strong season and a nice run in the playoffs, the Washington Wizards will most likely make small tweaks to their roster instead of large overhauls. Given their lack of flexibility under the salary cap, the Wizards will probably make small additions in free agency.

What does Wizards head coach Randy Wittman think the team needs in order to become more competitive against the elite teams? More shooting at the power forward position.

Here's Wittman's comments, via Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post:

“We would like to add a couple pieces. I’m not gonna lie about that,” Wittman said last week. “We need to solidify our bench a little bit more. We were a little bit too much up and down from our production off our bench last year, so I’d like to add a piece there. You know, I’d like to maybe get a little bit better at the stretch 4, the shooting 4. We have to be able to play with those teams like Golden State."
