Randolph signs 4-year extension with Grizzlies
Memphis forward Zach Randolph has signed a four-year extension after leading the Grizzlies to their first playoff win in franchise history.
The Grizzlies officially announced the deal Wednesday night before Game 2 of their first-round series with the San Antonio Spurs. Randolph had said earlier this week he would sign the extension.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Randolph said this week he agreed to the extension after the front office assured him that re-signing 26-year-old center Marc Gasol was next.
Randolph averaged 20.1 points and a career-high 12.2 rebounds this season.
