Prediction: Sacramento Kings' Box Score Game 47 at Charlotte Hornets

The Sacramento Kings travel to Charlotte to take on the Hornets on January 28, 2017.  This article predicts the Sacramento Kings’ box score for that game.

The Sacramento Kings travel to the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the Hornets tonight.  This is the first of two regular-season meeting between the two teams this season.

Last night, the Kings fought hard, but blew a fourth-quarter lead and fell to the Pacers 115-111 in Indiana.  Below is a highlight video from that game in case you missed the action.

Without further ado, below is my box score prediction for the Sacramento Kings against the Charlotte Hornets.

Box Score Prediction

The Charlotte Hornets are a good defensive team.  They rank 7th in the NBA in defensive rating and allow the 10th fewest points to the opposition.

They rank 14th in offensive rating and 16th in pace.  Charlotte should provide the Kings with another stern test.

Neither team has the back-to-back advantage as the Hornets played the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.  That could mean some tired legs tonight, but they are both playing on equal footing.

Admittedly, second of back-to-back games are always the hardest for me to predict.  The rotations often go a little haywire due to fatigue and other factors.  Coach Joerger relied heavily on his starters on Friday night, so it will be interesting if he maintains that Saturday or if he plays his bench more.  Keep an eye out for the rotation calamity that could ensue tonight.

Summary

There you have it, my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for Saturday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets.  This team featuring Nicolas Batum and Kemba Walker can be a difficult team to beat in Charlotte, so the Kings have their work cut out for them tonight.  Here is to hoping the Kings can steal a win and regain some momentum tonight.
