Popovich doesn't hold back in press conference after season-ending loss

Asking San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich questions is daunting regardless of the circumstances, but asking him questions after a season-ending loss has to be one of the more excruciatingly painful and nerve-racking moments for media members.

Following the Spurs' 113-99 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 6, which eliminated the 67-win Spurs before they could face off with the 73-win Golden State Warriors in the conference finals matchup everyone wanted to see, Popovich was in class Pop form, answering questions sarcastically and making reporters feel dumb:

At this point, press conferences are clearly just a game for Pop, if not a cathartic exercise in expressing his mental superiority. Some of the questions certain reporters ask are head-scratching in nature, and he chooses to illumate that instead of partaking in the charade.

It's hilarious as long as you're not the one on the receiving end of these barbs. Otherwise, you just have to take it stride and be grateful Pop can't embarrass you anymore this season.
