Nuggets GM: Emmanuel Mudiay will start

Denver Nuggets rookie point guard Emmanuel Mudiay is still just a teenager, but that won't stop him from getting the keys to the franchise.

Mudiay, the 7th overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, stepped into a starting role after the Nuggets traded long time point guard Ty Lawson to the Houston Rockets this offseason.

Nuggets GM Tim Connelly recently confirmed that it's the plan to let Mudiay start from day one under new head coach Michael Malone. 

The Nuggets open the season in Houston on October 28th against Lawson and the Houston Rockets.
