New York Knicks: Brandon Jennings Blasts Team's Lack Of Effort

New York Knicks point guard Brandon Jennings blasted his team for playing without energy. It’s the second time this season Jennings has made such a criticism.

The New York Knicks suffered what may have been the worst loss of the season on Monday, Feb. 6. The Knicks were thoroughly dominated by a now 18-36 Los Angeles Lakers squad that had lost 10 of its previous 12 games.

Following the Knicks’ embarrassing loss at Madison Square Garden, sixth man Brandon Jennings held nothing back.

New York was outscored by Los Angeles in each of the first three quarters of play. The end result was a 121-107 home loss to a team that has twice as many losses as it does victory.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, Jennings held nothing back when he pointed the finger at the primary reason for failure: a lack of effort.

Though outsiders can only attempt to comprehend the life of an NBA player, it’s difficult to argue with anything Jennings is saying.
