NBA Rumors: According to a report, the Sacramento Kings are reportedly growing “sick” of DeMarcus Cousins
Amongst most NBA circles, DeMarcus Cousins getting traded is already a forgone conclusion. It’s a matter of “when” and not “if”.
However, there hasn’t really been any solid trade conversations – or at least any that have gone public. But that could soon be changing. As the saying goes, where there’s smoke there’s fire. And smoke is developing.
In a podcast with ESPN’s Marc Stein, Zach Lowe dropped quite a bit of news regarding the Boogie Cousins situation in Sacramento. According to Lowe, he’s beginning to hear rumblings that the Kings are “starting to get sick of Cousins.”

If this piece of information is indeed true, and there’s really no reason why we shouldn’t believe a Lowe report, this falls in line with an earlier rumor that stated that the Kings were growing closer to trading Cousins.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what’s going on behind closed doors in Sacramento. A trade will eventually come. Depending on who you listen to, it can come as early as this season or as late as next NBA Trade Deadline.
Either way, it sounds like the Kings are beginning to warm up to the idea of trading DeMarcus Cousins – or growing weary of his act.
The good news for the Kings is that Boogie’s trade market will be robust. After all, who wouldn’t want to trade for arguably the best center in basketball?
