NBA reporter Craig Sager cleared to go home after latest leukemia treatment, son says
TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager has been battling leukemia, but the longtime NBA fixture has been medically cleared and sent home from the hospital, his son announced Wednesday.
Sager, 64, had a leukemia recurrence earlier this year after initially believing to be in full remission. The ensuing recovery caused him to miss the majority of the NBA season and the playoffs.
Sager's son, Craig Sager Jr., filled in during the playoffs for his father and shared the good news on Twitter:

It's unclear when Sager will be back on the sidelines, but he recently attended media day with the Houston Rockets while still undergoing treatment.
