NBA refs miss one of the most obvious double dribbles you'll ever see
It can’t be easy being an NBA referee. The players are bigger, stronger and faster than ever, making the game even more difficult to officiate.
But some calls are pretty obvious to make. A perfect example of this occurred in the first quarter of the Clippers-Nets game Tuesday.
Brooklyn power forward Bojan Bogdanovic received a simple handoff pass from center Brook Lopez, took one dribble and picked up the ball. As Bogdanovic tried to create some space on J.J. Redick, who was tightly guarding him, the Nets forward inexplicably took another dribble. A blatant double dribble, but no whistle was blown.
The officials probably will get a call from the league on this one.
Sooo they're just not gonna call anything? ?https://t.co/h2BGRw1z8K
