NBA gives fans access to official stats tool

The NBA is giving fans and media access during the playoffs to the same statistics used by its teams and broadcast partners.

NBA.com StatsCube is developed from the league's official play-by-play data that is tracked courtside at every game.

The data show that Chicago's Kyle Korver, who hit key 3-pointers in each of the Bulls' two victories over Indiana in their series, led the NBA in clutch 3-point percentage during the regular season at 46.2 percent. A clutch situation is defined as five minutes left in the fourth quarter or overtime, with a score margin of five points or fewer.
