NBA fines Warriors coach Steve Kerr for verbal abuse of referees in loss to Kings

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has been fined $25,000 for "verbal abuse of game officials and failing to leave the court in a timely manner after his ejection," the NBA announced Monday in an official release.

The incident occurred with 3:34 remaining in the third quarter of Golden State's 109-106 overtime loss to the Kings in Sacramento on Saturday, and in case you were wondering, yes -- the fine was well-deserved.
