Mirza Teletovic says Nets wanted him to stay, Kings offered two-year deal
The Nets may have rescinded their qualifying offer to Mirza Teletovic, but that doesn't mean they had no interest in keeping him around.
Igot Marinovic, who attended a press conference in Teletovic's home country Bosnia, had some interesting quotes to tweet out:
Add Teletovic to the long list of players who have turned down money from the Kings this offseason, though we don't know exactly how much Sacramento wanted to give him. He eventually signed a one-year contract with the Suns worth about $5.5 million.
