Mike Conley says Grizzlies 'deserve' Christmas Day game

Playing on Christmas Day is a privilege for NBA teams, something many players aspire to do. Mike Conley is apparently one of those guys.

The Grizzlies, per usual, will not play on Christmas Day this year, but the Memphis point guard believes his squad playing on one of the NBA's most special days would make sense.

"We definitely feel like we deserve one," Conley told Justin Termine and Eddie Johnson on Sirius/XM radio show NBA Today. "We deserve a chance and an opportunity to play on a day like that. It's very special. that's something that, being in the league, you look forward to. So hopefully, we'll get our opportunity. We'll get our chance."

Ten teams are lined up to play five games on Christmas, including Heat vs. Pelicans, Bulls vs. Thunder, Warriors vs. Cavaliers, Rockets vs. Spurs and Lakers vs. Clippers.
