Metta World Peace ejected after committing 5 fouls in one minute
It wasn’t quite the “Malice at the Palace,” but fans in Italy recently caught a glimpse of the old Ron Artest.
Artest, a.k.a. Metta World Peace, a.k.a The Panda’s Friend, still is playing basketball these days with Pallacanestro Cantù in Italy’s Lega Basket Serie A.

Things were going just fine in Wednesday’s playoff game against Reyer Venezia Mestre until the fourth quarter, when World Peace decided to eschew that moniker and start some hostilities after taking exception to a hard foul against one of his teammates.
The 35-year-old eventually was ejected from the game after being assessed five fouls in a minute. Check out the damage.

Say what you want about the man, but he knows how to make an exit. World Peace's team followed as it was bounced from the playoffs, and he was suspended two games.
World Peace, whose last NBA appearance came with the New York Knicks in 2014, has been relatively tame since his ugly brawl as an Indiana Pacer in 2004 — aside from that elbow to James Harden — but clearly hasn’t completely lost his mean streak.
