Magic select O'Quinn with No. 49 pick in draft

The Magic have selected Kyle O'Quinn with the 49th overall pick in the second round of the NBA draft.

The 6-foot-10 O'Quinn played four years at Norfolk State and averaged 15.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

He is known as a good mid-range jump shooter and good shot blocker, having averaged 2.7 in his final college season. The biggest questions surrounding him are his conditioning at a stout 240 pounds and his competition level coming out of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

In the first round, the Magic selected 6-9 forward Andrew Nicholson from St. Bonaventure with the No. 19 overall pick.
