LeBron responds to Michael Jordan, says he would win 1-on-1 matchup

Michael Jordan recently told kids at his basketball camp that in his prime, he would be able to beat LeBron James in a one-on-one contest.

"No question," Jordan said at the time.

Now, it's LeBron's turn to respond, and not surprisingly, he's picking himself to prevail in the hypothetical matchup.

"Oh, I take myself," he said, during an interview with Today. "For sure. I mean, I'm gonna take myself versus anybody. I'll tell you one thing — they're gonna have to have a few wheelchairs and a couple ambulances there to get us off the floor."

LeBron's size would be a problem, but so would Jordan's ability to hit shots from literally anywhere on the floor, even with a defender draped all over him.

We'll give the slight edge to MJ just because of how insanely competitive he is, but while we'll never know what would ultimately happen, we can all agree it would be truly amazing to watch.
