LAPD reportedly looking into death threat made at Chris Paul's wife

Los Angeles police are investigating a threat made on Twitter against Chris Paul's wife.

A day after the Clippers' 114-90 loss to the Cavaliers on March 13, Paul received a tweet that, according to TMZ Sports, read "@CP3 if I knew where you lived I'd probably kill your wife and frame you for it. I watch dateline I get away with it." The tweet has since been deleted.

Clippers security notified the LAPD, which launched an investigation but no arrests have been made, according to the report. According to official documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Paul claims this same person has made "annoying comments" on family pics, making rude comments at his wife, Jada Crawley.

The investigation has not been referred to prosecutors, according to the LA Times.
