Lance Stephenson had a nickname before 'Born Ready'

Lance Stephenson has been hyped up ever since his days at Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, where he became New York City's all-time leading high-school scorer.

That record still stands today. His first nickname, however, does not.

It's a good thing Lance switched over nicknames, but I want to know more. 

When did it happen? Why did it happen? What is the story behind Ice Water?

Apparently, Lance wasn't born ready for the nickname Born Ready, but that doesn't mean he wasn't born ready...if you know what I mean.
