Lakers losing D'Angelo Russell for at least two more weeks
It's a good thing Nick Young has ice water in his veins, because D'Angelo Russell has soreness in his left knee that will sideline him at least two more weeks.
The Lakers announced their point guard, who missed the past two games, got an injection in his knee Wednesday and will be evaluated again in a week.
"They tell me they think this is going to help get him back out there, then I'm going with the belief that in two weeks he'll be ready to play again," coach Luke Walton told reporters.
Russell, averaging 16.1 points and a team-high 4.8 assists, has been sidelined since he scored a Lakers season-high 32 last week against the Nets, and the Lakers lost home games to the Bulls and Spurs before Young stepped up in his absence Tuesday night and hit a game-winner against the Thunder.

The Lakers get not one but TWO rematches against the Warriors this week, starting tonight, as they enter a tough stretch of schedule that includes games at Chicago, New Orleans, Toronto, Memphis and Houston.
Julius Randle (hip pointer) also was sidelined for Wednesday night's game at Golden State, giving rookie Brandon Ingram his first start.
