Lakers coach Luke Walton gets quick ejection after lighting into the refs

The Los Angeles Lakers came into Monday’s game against the Sacramento Kings having lost six in a row, a streak that had to leave head coach Luke Walton in a foul mood.

How else can you explain Walton’s ejection less than eight minutes into Monday’s action? The first-year Lakers head coach was upset when the refs called nothing on DeMarcus Cousins after he got tangled up with Julius Randle.

Walton lashed out at the officials, earning two technicals in quick succession.

It was Walton’s first ejection as Lakers coach, something he hopes doesn’t become a trend this season.
