Kristaps Porzingis questionable for Saturday's game in Memphis

If Kristaps Porzingis can't play Saturday against the Grizzlies, his arms still might be long enough to affect some shots on the court. Maybe. It's possible. But he still won't be as effective as if he were actually on the court.

That's the situation the Knicks are in right now after Porzingis sat out Friday's practice with a shoulder injury.

Here's more from Frank Isola of the New York Daily News:

Carmelo Anthony is also in a similar situation for Saturday's game. Anthony missed Wednesday's road loss to the Nets after rolling an ankle during a win over the Celtics the previous night. The Knicks have been playing strong basketball of late, but missing their two best players wouldn't exactly help things.

Still, at least Kristaps has a good sense of humor about the injury:

Bryant, of course, famously joked about a year ago that an injury he'd suffered happened because he was passing too much. Porzingis is shooting a lot, but he's not quite at Kobe's quantity just yet. If only he were shooting 25 times a game. If only.
