Knicks signs forward Lance Thomas for rest of season

NEW YORK (AP) The New York Knicks have signed forward Lance Thomas for the remainder of the season.

The team made the announcement on Saturday.

The 6-foot-8 Thomas is averaging 10.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 25.5 minutes in seven games with New York. He signed the first of two 10-day contracts on Jan. 10.
