Kristaps Porzingis makes his money on the basketball court, not in a recording studio. The same goes for fellow Knicks rookie Jerian Grant. That's probably because they're infinitely better at scoring than they are at singing.
That proved to be evident after hearing their rendition of "Happy Birthday," which they had to sing for Robin Lopez.
Porzingis' terrible singing wasn't for a lack of effort, though.
"I sang my heart out," he told Kevin Seraphin. "That's what I do. I give everything -- singing, basketball, you know."
At least he tried. That's all you can ask for.
