Knicks rookie Early needs knee surgery, to miss at least a month
NEW YORK -- Knicks rookie forward Cleanthony Early will miss at least a month because of knee surgery.
The team said Tuesday that an MRI revealed loose fragments in his right knee, and he'll need an arthroscopic procedure this week. He'll be reevaluated in a month to determine when he can return.
The second-round draft pick out of Wichita State was averaging 2.7 points in 7.7 minutes.
