Knicks' Robin Lopez already feuding with mascots on Twitter
Knicks training camp just started Tuesday, and Robin Lopez is already doing the weirdest things the NBA has to offer.
Everyone knows at this point that Lopez has a mutual disdain with the league's mascots. He's found himself feuding with ones in Detroit, Toronto, Atlanta, Portland ... the list goes on.
If you need a refresher, you can find it here. We might need to add a new chapter to that story, though, because Lopez is now talking trash with Pierre the Pelican.
It all started when Pierre tweeted this Tuesday afternoon, the day after Knicks media day:
That moment @rolopez42 starts talking at Media Day #WakeMeUpWhenItsOver pic.twitter.com/MEJeQenZzP

Then, came RoLo's response, and the war began:
@PierreTPelican you that scared? I didn't even mention you by name!!! #YellowBeakYellowBelly

.@rolopez42 Since when did "scared" & "bored out of my mind" become synonyms? #SynonymMeansSimilarInCaseYouDidntKnow #MarchTwentyEighth

Robin Lopez, always here to entertain. I'm sure this will play out more, and don't be surprised if something goes down when Lopez and the Knicks head down to New Orleans, though that won't be until March 28.
Mark your calendars.
