Knicks play French national anthem before Sunday's game vs. Pelicans

NEW YORK -- The Knicks hosted the Pelicans in a matinee contest at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, and before it got started, they showed their support for those affected by Friday's attacks in Paris.

A moment of silence was held, and then a recording of the French national anthem was played before the customary live performance of The Star Spangled Banner. 

Each team has a player from France on its roster. Alexis Ajinca of New Orleans has been wearing "Pray for Paris" written on his sneakers:
