We knew it! We absolutely knew it. Eventually, the Golden State Warriors' premature celebration of Stephen Curry 3-pointers had to come back to bite them.
On Friday night against the Dallas Mavericks, with David Lee in town to receive his long-awaited championship ring, Klay Thompson made the mistake of assuming Curry was going to pull up in transition. But as Thompson walked away to celebrate, Curry decided to pass his fellow Splash Brother the ball -- and Thompson was not at all ready:
We'd say the Warriors paid a price for the miscommunication, but Curry quickly redeemed himself with a ridiculous buzzer beater to end the half:
