Kings' Cousins upgraded to probable for game vs. Mavericks

The Sacramento Kings could definitely use a return from DeMarcus Cousins as they take on the Dallas Mavericks in Rajon Rondo's first game against his most recent former team. And just hours before tip, the likelihood that Cousins would be available increased.

The Kings center, who is dealing with a lower back strain that cost him the past three games, was upgraded from questionable to probable ahead of Monday's game, according to the team.

Probable specifically means that there's "a 75 percent chance that the player will play in the game," via the team's official website. The Kings are 5-5 in games in which Cousins has played this season, but they are just 1-7 in his absence.
