Karl-Anthony Towns wants to spend entire career with Timberwolves

With the biggest story of the NBA offseason boiling down to "Championship Rule Everything Around ME (C.R.E.A.M.)," it's strange to imagine current young stars being willing to tie their wagon to a franchise for life.

LeBron James' "Decision" made jumping ship a possibility, and Kevin Durant's departure from Oklahoma City kicked the door off the hinges for superstars in pursuit of rings.

This shift toward opportunism makes it weird to hear sentiments like those expressed by Karl-Anthony Towns on Wednesday. The second-year Minnesota Timberwolves center told the Associated Press' Jon Krawczynski that, after one season in the league, he's looking to stay with the Timberwolves for his entire career, if possible.

Moreover, Towns believes he won't have to leave for a contender because the 'Wolves will soon be one.
