Karl-Anthony Towns, Kristaps Porzingis headline NBA's All-Rookie Team

The NBA named its All-Rookie teams on Thursday, and much like the Rookie of the Year voting, there was very little surprise in the announcement.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Kristaps Porzingis were far and away the top rookies of the 2016 season, and the Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks big men were selected unanimously to the All-Rookie First Team as a result. Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns received the third-most votes, while Denver's Nikola Jokic and Jahlil Okafor of the Sixers rounded out the rest of the first-team selections.

The All-Rookie Second Team was made up of Miami's Justise Winslow, the Lakers' D'Angelo Russell, Denver's Emmanuel Mudiay, Sacramento's Willie Cauley-Stein, and Myles Turner of the Pacers.

Voters were instructed to pick five players for the first team and five players for the second team, regardless of position. If you're interested in seeing who was responsible for some of the votes for more random players (like Cameron Payne or Joe Young), NBA.com has the complete results.
