Kansas draft prospect suffers injury during Lakers workout

With the vast number of players coming in and out of pre-draft workouts, there's always the possibility that something could go wrong. Unfortunately, that's the case after Tuesday's session at the Los Angeles Lakers training facility, where two draft prospects were forced to call it an early day, according to the LA Times.

The seemingly lesser of the two ailments was suffered by Cal State Fullerton's Alex Harris, who halted his workout with an unspecified illness. Kansas freshman big man Cliff Alexander, on the other hand, experienced a right knee injury toward the end of his workout. Alexander averaged just over seven points and five rebounds per game for the Jayhawks. There was no further comment on the nature or severity of the injury from a team spokesman.
