Kaminsky, Portis, Nance would like a social media do-over after NBA Draft

For Frank Kaminsky, Bobby Portis and Larry Nance Jr., Thursday night's NBA Draft was a lifelong dream that turned into a brief nightmare. As the trio celebrated with family and friends, people began digging into their online history. Ironically, each of them had critical comments about the teams that drafted them or players on their new teams.

Kaminsky, who was selected No. 9 by the Charlotte Hornets, wrote in blog post during his time at Wisconsin that the NBA atmosphere doesn't compare to college, and singled out the Hornets (previously known as Bobcats).

"I am at the pinnacle of my basketball career, at least in my eyes," he wrote. "I know the NBA has their crazy fans and all, but . . . there are games when teams like the Bobcats get hardly any fans, and it looks flat-out boring."

"At the Kohl Center, we play in front of nearly 17,000 fans every single time we step onto the court. When we travel, we play in front of sellout crowds who absolutely hate us."

He has since edited that post.

Bobby Portis, who was selected 22nd by the Chicago Bulls, apparantly was a huge Miami Heat fan in 2011 and made critical comments about the Bulls on Twitter. Portis, who has deleted the posts, took shots at Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol. But after he was drafted Thursday, he apologized to the Bulls.

It'll probably be an awkward moment when Larry Nance Jr., who was selected No. 27 by the Los Angeles Lakers, first meets Kobe Bryant. Nance was very critical of Kobe's 2003 arrest on sexual assault charges.
