John Wall gifts Rihanna a Wizards jersey, ensures postseason success

Rihanna's "Anti" tour made its seventh stop in DC at the Verizon Center on Tuesday night. The place was packed to the rafters, everybody was body-rolling and singing along off-key; good times were had by all. Here's a nice picture from backstage after the show of Rihanna and a fan.

Yep. The Wizards were off on Tuesday night after beating the Hawks on Monday, and John Wall spent it at Rihanna's show. Wall was probably in the VIP section or waiting in the wings backstage, but it's more fun to imagine that he was sing-rapping Drake's verse from Rihanna's (Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single) "Work" in the front row with all of the other crazed fans. 

Anyway, Wall met Rihanna after the show, and gave her a Wizards jersey as a gift. Or an offering brought in hopes of being granted the boons to lift the Wizards one-and-a-half games over the Pistons and the Bulls to a playoff berth, depending upon whether you believe in that sort of thing or not.
