Iman Shumpert may have to sit Game 3 with injury
The Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls are both facing the biggest moment of their season. In the second-round series between the two teams, which feels like an inevitable death match of potentially epic proportions, the last thing you want to see is injuries.
Sadly, Cleveland is drowning in them. After losing Kevin Love for the season after he separated his shoulder, the Cavs are now facing the possibility of playing Game 3 without guard Iman Shumpert, a key defender:
Whether or not he plays, Shumpert is unlikely to continue starting, as he has for the last two games. J.R. Smith, the man he's been replacing in the Cleveland front five, will be returning from suspension and presumably jumping into the starting backcourt with point man Kyrie Irving again.
Stay tuned as this story develops.
