Here's the Timberwolves staff freaking out over the draft lottery

The team with the best odds at landing the number one pick in the NBA draft had not actually won the first pick since 2004. By getting the first pick last night (with a 25 percent chance at doing so, the top odds this year), the Minnesota Timberwolves bucked that trend. As you'd expect, the entire staff was pretty darn excited.

We'll just let Flip and his staff sum up how excited we are about that No.1 spot... #NBADraftLottery #EyesOnTheRise https://t.co/Q3dfceFBsI

In a way, this is the second year in a row in which the Timberwolves will have the first overall pick. Last year, they traded Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers for, among other players, Andrew Wiggins, whom the Cavaliers picked first a few months prior.
