Hawks reportedly have 'very intense' practice after home loss to Miami

Atlanta has dropped three consecutive games, including a home loss to Miami on Monday.

Since beginning the season 7-1, the Hawks are 7-of-18. Atlanta, of course, made it to the Eastern Conference Finals last year and finished with the best regular reason record in the conference. But Atlanta's struggles have become a national story. The Hawks are 10th in the East -- this time last season, the Hawks were 19-7 and No. 2 in the conference.

Atlanta head coach Mike Budenholzer reportedly held a tough practice on Tuesday to try and help get his team back into shape.

“Great practice,” said Paul Millsap, via MyAJC.com. “Very intense. Very intense. It was great. Something we needed. Hopefully, it’s the turning point.”

The Hawks play the Philadelphia 76ers (who brag the worst record in the NBA and just one win this season) on Wednesday.
