Eric Bledsoe misses game against Spurs with sore knee

Eric Bledsoe missed the Suns' loss in San Antonio with a sore knee, and it's unclear at this point just how long he'll be out of action.

Paul Coro of the Arizona republic has the details:

With Bledsoe sidelined, the Suns started Devin Booker, who is the youngest player in the league at just 19 years of age. He finished with four points and four rebounds in 24 minutes of action, which obviously didn't come close to replacing Bledsoe's level of production.

The Suns were held to just 84 points in the loss, and fell to 7-7 on the season.

Bledsoe injured the knee on a collision with New Orleans' Alonzo Gee in the first half Sunday and quickly came out of the game after a few seconds of play to start the second half. He returned to finish the game with 29 points, seven rebounds and six assists in 34 minutes but the knee became tight after the game and he had an obvious limp.

Bledsoe tested out the knee during pregame warmups Monday night at AT&T Center before he was ruled out by the Suns. Bledsoe is averaging 23.2 points, 5.8 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals with 48.0 percent shooting from the field and 39.3 percent shooting on 3-pointers.
