Dwight Howard is happy with Houston's draft
The Houston Rockets had one of the better drafts last Thursday night, snagging great value with both their picks. They landed Wisconsin's Sam Dekker at 18 and Louisville's Montrezl Harrell at 32.
Both can play in the frontcourt, and Dwight Howard could not be happier that he's getting some help, per the Houston Chronicle's Jenny Dial Creech:
“I saw Dekker in (the NCAA Tournament) and he had some big moments and was fun to watch. He will make a nice addition. (Harrell) is a talented player and seems to want to work hard and keep getting better. I love that attitude. I think if we are healthy and focused on next season, we can do great things."
Both players were expected by most to go a little earlier in the draft, and both can come in right away and help Houston win games next season.
But as good as Houston's draft probably was, nobody knows what their roster will look like until free agency is over.
