Durant, Westbrook fined for separate incidents during Game 4 win over Mavericks

Kevin Durant won't be suspended for the flagrant-two foul he committed late in the Thunder's Game 4 win over the Mavericks on Saturday, but it is going to cost him.

The NBA announced that Durant was fined $15,000 for the incident, which occurred with 50.6 seconds remaining in Oklahoma City's 119-108 victory that put the team up 3-1 in the series.

Durant apologized to Justin Anderson afterward, and it seemed fairly clear that there was no intent to do any real damage.

The league also announced that Russell Westbrook was fined $25,000 for directing inappropriate language toward a fan during the very same contest. The NBA has been consistent in fining players who have negative interactions with individual fans whenever evidence of it exists.
