Doc Rivers points to one obvious reason why the Warriors aren't a super team

The Golden State Warriors have the NBA’s best record, offense and most-imposing quartet of superstars on any team. Many pointed to them as a super team when they added Kevin Durant in the offseason.

But Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers isn't ready to give Golden State that moniker for one simple reason.

“They've only won one title, by the way,” Rivers told reporters before the teams met in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

There’s no denying that fact. The Warriors are coming off a record 73-win regular season but had nothing to show for it when they blew a 3-1 Finals lead to the Cavaliers.

But Rivers might be the wrong coach to make this point. The Clippers had lost six straight to the Warriors before Wednesday’s matchup and never have made it past the second round in the playoffs.
